REJECTION OF COMMUNITY OF NUSANTARA’S WARTEG (small restaurant) TO THE NATIONAL CAPITAL WILL MOVE FROM JAKARTA In connection with President Joko Widodo's state address, Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta with a plan to move the capital to a new place, we hereby, from the Warteg Community (Warung Tegal) Nusantara, abbreviated as KOWANTARA, express our opinions: Reject the plan to move the capital to a new place with the reason: Moving the capital requires a large budget, while the country's economic situation is not yet stable with conditions: 1. The purchasing power of Indonesian people is increasingly falling 2. Rising prices of basic commodities or groceries 3. In come small businesses are declining, especially small food stalls such as warteg (Tegal stalls) and others with the lack of buyers because the people's purchasing power is increasingly difficult 4.
